Our Year 5 children thoroughly enjoyed meeting local author Steve Skidmore. The children engaged in role-play activities and had a hilarious time! The children were able to buy some of Steve's books and get them signed at the end of the session too. Thank you Steve for inspiring us to be authors of the future!
Our Community room is back open and being used by the children again! After the severe flood damage that happened in September everything is brand new and looking fresh! Well done to Mrs Sheerin for making the space look so inviting! 
We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the School Mental Health Award from the Carnegie School of Education. Not only that but we have achieved Gold! Well done to our staff and pupils who worked hard towards achieving this!

Our Year 3 children have been learning about their story 'Escape from Pompeii' in their English lessons. The children have learnt about Volcanoes in Science to support them in understanding why the disaster happened. Well done Year 3! 
Our Year 2 children have been busy learning about Plastic Pollution as part of their story 'Clean Up.' The children wrote about the feelings that the animals in the story would feel. They also wrote about how we can help the plastic problem. Fantastic work Year 2! 
Our Nursery Children have been busy learning about their story 'Starry Night.' The children have created some fantastic cityscapes and have developed their cutting and counting skills using scissors. Well done Reception! 
Our Reception children have been busy learning about their Number bonds. The children have created their own garden of number bond facts with lots of little insects crawling around the grass. Well done Reception!

Our Nursery children have been learning about their new story 'Egg.' The children created their own decorated eggs based on the story. Aren't they fantastic!
In Year 2, the children learnt about the story 'The First Slodge'. The children learnt about sharing and caring for each other as part of the story's themes. Their artwork and writing is fantastic! Well done Year 2!
In Year 2 we have been learning about significant individuals. The children enjoyed learning about different people including Neil Armstrong, Rosa Parks and Greta Thunberg. At the end of the topic the children created their own front covers for the Little People Big Dreams series of books. Well done Year 2 they are amazing!
