Our Year 6 children have been busy learning about the story 'My Princess Boy.' The children were learning about this story as part of their work on No Outsiders. The children understood that everyone is different and that is what makes us special. They created word clouds to represent our school and how welcoming it is. Well done Year 6!
Our Year 1 children have been busy learning about Elmer! The children learnt about how they are similar and different from each other, just like Elmer in the story! Well done Year 1!
Our Year 3 children have been busy! They have been learning about the book 'Mixed.' The children learnt about the book and its themes such as understanding, love and acceptance and these ideas make the world a better place. The children then created their own pictures and drawings to represent the story.
Our Year 2 children have been learning about Significant Individuals in History.
They thought about who might be the most significant individual in History and who might be the least. They then had to sort and organise the people into a diamond and justify their reasons why they thought people were significant to society and history or not. Well done Year 2!

Our Year 1 children have been busy in the allotment over the last few weeks! The children have planted sunflowers and marigolds but they have also explored the allotment and sketched some of the plants as part of their Science lessons!

Our Key Stage Two children had a visit from the staff at the National Space Centre last week. The children learnt lots of things about Space and took part in lots of fantastic experiments!
