Our first Sports Day of the year!
Children in the Early Years, Bonsai Class and Key Stage One have thoroughly enjoyed their Sports Day today and have tried really hard at all the activities. The Green team won overall, but everyone tried their best!

Our Reception children had a lovely day yesterday learning about wash days in the past as part of their History learning. The children also learnt about Beatrix Potter and her life as an author. Everyone had a great time!
Our Year 5 children really enjoyed their trip to
yesterday! The children were able to learn about lots of different periods of history and they enjoyed talking to the different actors around the museum too. Well done Year 5!

Our Reception children in Elm Class performed their assembly all about being ambitious to the rest of Key Stage 1 on Tuesday. The children dressed up as the type of worker they would like to be when they grow up. They also spoke about dreaming big and they were all articulate!

The Nursery children were really lucky yesterday as they had the ladies from Slithering reptiles join them in their morning session with their range of reptiles. The children were able to hold and touch a range of different reptiles including frogs, lizards and snakes! The Nursery children were so well-behaved and conquered their fears! Well done everyone!

Our Year 6 children had a fantastic day at West Midlands Safari Park yesterday for their end-of-year trip. They were able to see a variety of animals both on the safari, on the coach and whilst walking around the different attractions. The children were really well-behaved considering the coach broke down on the way home! Well done everyone!
Our Year 5 children thoroughly enjoyed meeting local author Steve Skidmore. The children engaged in role-play activities and had a hilarious time! The children were able to buy some of Steve's books and get them signed at the end of the session too. Thank you Steve for inspiring us to be authors of the future!
