Published 15/10/25Our Year 1 children have been busy programming the beebots in their Computing lessons. The children learnt the word 'algorithm' and what that means. They understood that instructions have to be given in the correct order for the algorithm to work.

Published 08/10/25Our Year 5 children had a fantastic time at the National Space Centre last week. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the moon, space and the planets. The children were also incredibly well-behaved. Well done Year 5!

Published 10/09/25Our Year 1 children have been busy learning about Elmer and talking about what makes us special and different from each other. The children made their own patchwork elephants using a range of materials and wrote about some of the things that make them special. Well done Year 1!

Published 10/09/25Our Year 2 children have been busy learning about the story 'The Missing Piece' by Jordan Stephens. The children really enjoyed thinking about what made them happy and they enjoyed creating the collage characters and jigsaw pieces as part of a team. Well done Year 2!

KS2 Sports Day
Published 27/06/25KS2 Sports Day took place earlier this week. The children relaly enjoyed taking part in a range of activities and races including the distance and sprint races.

Published 27/06/25Our Year 2 children really enjoyed their trip to Skegness this week where they learnt about the human and physical features in Skegness. They also learnt about the history of the seaside in the Victorian times. Well done everyone!

Mock Trial
Published 27/06/25Year 5 had a lovely day at the Uni last week celebrating the Mock Trial that they took part in previously. The children gained an understanding of the dangers of knife crime and how it can affect everyone. One of the children even won an award for best actor out of 240 children!

Nature trail
Published 19/06/25Chestnut Class thoroughly enjoyed their 'Nature Hunt' this morning in the forest school area as part of 'Clean Air Day.' The children had to find 28 plants and animals that live in Leicester and use the numbers to solve a very important message. Well done!
