This week the children continued to plant their chosen plants and trees around the allotment area in the school grounds.

Yesterday our Reception children went on their first school trip of the year to Coombe Abbey Country Park!
The children enjoyed the bus journey to the park before they explored the story of 'The Three Little Pigs.' The children used the Forest School area at the park to make their own versions of the three pigs' houses.
As part of our Year 5 Poli:Gen project, the school was awarded £750! The children chose flowering plants, gardening gloves, kneeling mats as well as tarpaulin.
Over the last couple of weeks Marty the robot arrived in school. Our children from Reception all the way to Year 5 have had the opportunity to write code and program a set of instructions for Marty to follow.
This week our children have met Sarah from The Dogs Trust. Sarah has been teaching the children about dogs and their senses. We enjoyed a virtual assembly this morning where Sarah introduced herself and explained that she would be getting the children ready to meet Harper, our therapy dog.
Our school took part in a 2 minutes silence yesterday to commemorate the end of World War One in 1918.
Throughout the week our Nursery children have been busy making their own poppies.
Our Year 5 and 6 children have been enjoying their Gymnastics lessons with Mr Allen this week.
The children were learning to focus on a particular point when balancing. The children were also able to manoeuvre over a range of different equipment.
Today all of our children have attended an assembly lead by the Rock Steady Music school. The Rock Steady company are offering an After school club to all pupils from Years 1 to Year 6.

Today all of our children attended our Diwali Bingo sessions. The children were competing for a full house in order to be rewarded with chocolate gifts.
