Our Nursery children have been busy learning all about each other over the last couple of weeks! The children have been talking to each other about their houses and families! Well done Oak class!
Palm Class are out of this world! The children have been learning to write their names correctly using the correct letter formations.
Our Year 6 children thoroughly enjoyed the second day of their residential trip. The children have been learning different skills such as teamwork and resilience whilst completing activities in the outside area. Well done Year 6!
Our Reception children have been busy engaging in technology in their provision time. The children have been able to select and navigate a range of different apps on the ipads this week. They have worked on their Maths and Writing skills by writing their names on the Scribaloo app! Well done Reception!
Our Year 6 children have had a fantastic time on their residential trip this afternoon! The children have been taking part in a variety of team building games and have had a fabulous time! They are going to spend some time swimming and enjoy their tea this evening!
It is official! We came fourth in Leicester City's Beat the Street Competition! Well done to everybody that took part in walking or running to each of the beat boxes across the city over the summer. Well done Rushey Mead!
Our Year 1 children enjoyed their first English lesson yesterday. The children found lots of clues in our forest school area and they had to make a prediction about what the setting of the story might be and what type of characters might be in the story too!
Meet our Sports Ambassadors!
This year we will be taking part in the Living Streets Walk to School challenge. Each day the children will be logging how they travelled to school that day and they will be able to earn a range of nature themed badges throughout the year!
We are getting very excited about our Year 6 residential next week! Lots of people will be busily packing cases over the weekend. Remember, you need to pack bedding for our trip - this can be a sleeping bag OR a duvet and bottom sheet. Don't forget to pack your teddies too!
Our Year 4 children had a visit from a viking yesterday! The children began their new History learning and learnt lots about the Vikings! They explored a range of different artefacts and learnt how to do some threading with different materials. Well done Year 4!
