Published 21/05/24Our Year 1 children have been busy in the allotment over the last few weeks! The children have planted sunflowers and marigolds but they have also explored the allotment and sketched some of the plants as part of their Science lessons!

Our latest Ofsted inspection

I am delighted to inform you that following our recent Ofsted inspection on Tuesday 16th & Wednesday 17th April 2024, our school continues to be rated as a 'Good' school. This achievement reflects all the dedication and hard work of our entire school community.
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
I would like to thank all of our parents / carers for your help, support and cooperation. Your involvement and encouragement play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of education and care we provide.

Year 4 Trip to the Newalk Museum
Published 08/05/24Our Year 4 children thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Newalk Museum yesterday! The children were able to develop their knowledge on the Ancient Civilisation the Egyptians!
The children had a great day exploring the different artefacts and they learnt lots of facts!

Published 08/05/24Last week, some of our Year 3 and 4 children attended an event that had been organised by Inspire. The children took part in a variety of activities including archery and healthy eating. The children had a fantastic day and were very well behaved!

Representation of Rizzi!
Published 08/05/24Our Year 1 pupils have been learning about the American artist James Rizzi. They worked hard on creating a representation of his artwork by sketching our school in his style. I am sure you will agree that there are lots of mini artists in Year 1!

Windmill Farm Park!
Published 07/05/24Last week our Reception children enjoyed their trip to Windmill Farm Park! The children were able to learn a lot about a range of different animals as well as feed some of the baby goats!
All of the children had a fantastic time and they were very well behaved!

Minibeast Mayhem!
Published 03/05/24The children in Reception have been learning about a range of minibeasts including: centipedes, butterflies and worms. The children used plasticine to create their own minibeast models. I am sure you will agree that they look fantastic! Well done Reception!
