Welcome from the Headteacher
Dear Parents
On behalf of the staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Rushey Mead Primary School. I hope that you and your children have a positive and rewarding association with us.
The whole school community (staff, children, parents and governors) work hard to ensure that the children are happy, successful learners. We will provide your children with the best possible start to their education. We want them to enjoy learning and enjoy coming to school.
We are proud of our school and its successes. Staff work hard to make learning interesting and fun and to help every child reach their full potential. Learning at Rushey Mead is delivered through lessons in the classrooms and around school, through the provision of extra-curricular activities and clubs and through educational trips.
I hope you enjoy exploring our website, however nothing can compare with a visit to the school. If you would like to visit prior to your child joining us, please ring the school office on 0116 266 1114.
I look forward to getting to know you and your children and to working with you in the future.
